A luxurious quick-to-knit intarsia afghan which will add beauty and warmth to any interior design scheme. Knitted in Blue Sky Bulky, a fabulous super-chunky blend of alpaca and wool which is incredibly light and springy, and available in a range of jewel-like shades for you to choose from. Designed by Kim Hamlin, the stranded colourwork design is repeated for each of the sixteen 14 x 14″ (35½ x 35½) squares. These are then joined together using a three needle bind-off, and edged with a garter stitch band. When complete, your Knit Quilt will measure approximately 44 x 56” (118 x 142cm). To complete your Knit Quilt you will need 8.0 and 9.0mm (US11 and US13) circular knitting needles.
