This Tinsel Penguin family consists of Daddy, Mummy, Girl and Boy, and they all wear cosy scarves to keep them warm in the ice and snow of their wintery homeland. Created using black, silver and white combinations of King Cole Tinsel Chunky which brings out the best of these perfect winter pals.
Easy to knit, the penguins are all made in pieces, which are then assembled and stuffed as you progress. When complete, Daddy Penguin will be approximately 21cm (8”), Mummy Penguin 20cm (7¾”), Girl Penguin 17cm (6¾”) and Boy Penguin about 18cm (7”).
To complete your penguin family you will need 3.0, 4.5 and 5.0mm (US2-3),US7 and US8). You will also need stuffing, stitch markers, and a small amount of Orange DK yarn for feet and noses.
