Created using a single skein of Fyberspates Scrumptious 4 Ply, a lustrous silk and merino blend which is available in a range of jewel-like shades for you to choose from.
Designed by Faye Perriam Reid, the hat has a comfortable ribbed edging and a beautifully balanced combination of cables and lace stitches, and is knitted in the round. The instructions are both written and charted.
Instructions are for S-M (53-57cm/21½ - 22½”) and M-L (58-62cm/23 – 24½”)
You will need a 2.0 OR 2.5mm (US0 OR US1.5) circular knitting needle, 3.0mm (US2.5) circular knitting needle, 3.0mm (US2.5) double pointed needles (DPNs).
Note: The design was originally created using 2.5mm (US0) knitting needles, but since these can be difficult to obtain, the designer re-worked the pattern using 2.0mm (US1.5) with excellent results.
