Created using a single skein of Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace, a lustrous silk and merino blend which is available in a range of jewel-like shades for you to choose from.
Designed by Ysolda Teague, Ishbel is a generously-sized triangular scarf with a solid stocking stitch centre which is worked outwards, is edged with an elegant vine pattern, and finishes with eyecatching scalloped points.
The lace pattern is both written and charted.
To complete your Ishbel Scarf you will need a 4.0mm (US6) 60cm circular knitting needle or 80cm (32”) circular knitting needle (depending on your preference).
Instructions are also given for a smaller, denser, and cosier version of the scarf, knitted using an alpaca/merino blend 4 ply or fingering weight yarn.
