Designed by Jen Arnall-Culliford, the intriguing design consists of two mirror image side triangles which are then joined to a delicate lace and twisted stitch panel as it is knitted.
The instructions for the lace pattern are given in writing and as a chart.
When complete, your shawl will measure approximately 160cm across x 62cm centre neck to point. (63 x 24½”)
To complete your Sonning shawl you will need 2.75mm (US2) knitting needles (you may prefer a circular needle due to the large number of stitches. You will also need a stitch holder and stitch markers.
