The blanket and bag are crocheted in soft and silky Stylecraft Malabar DK in shades of French Navy, Canton Blue, Lime, Jade, Lime, Amethyst, Hollyhock, and Fuchsia. The pattern is also suitable for Life DK and Stylecraft Special DK, and both of these yarn ranges have huge selections to choose from, so there are sure to be shades to suit you! The blanket is created using a combination of chains, trebles and double trebles, edged with a border, then finished with the triangles, with their charming medallions. The bag is made in a similar way and the top border and straps are added last. When complete, the blanket will measure approximately 81cm x 99cm (32” x 39”, and the bag is approximately 36cm tall x 28cm wide (14” tall x 11” wide). To complete your throw and bag you will need a 4mm (US G/6) crochet hook and stitch markers.
