Created using Fyberspates Scrumptious DK, a lustrous silk and merino blend which is available in a range of jewel-like shades for you to choose from.
Designed by Elly Doyle, the Hendred Hat is knitted in the round using double pointed needles (DPNs) and has a pretty segmented pattern which decreases towards the crown. The Hendred Mittens are also knitted in the round using double pointed needles (DPNs) and have a comfortable, wide cuff to keep in the heat. .
Instructions for the Hat are One Size, to fit an adult woman with a head circumference approximately 50-55cm (20 – 22”), and the Mittens are designed to fit hand circumference 17-20cm (6½ - 8”)..
You will need 3.75 and 4.0mm (US5 and US6) double pointed needles (DPNs) and a spare set of double pointed needles (DPNs) 3.75mm (US5) or smaller, and stitch markers.
